See the Signs

Child Abuse Recognition for Professionals, Caregivers, and Community Partners

See the Signs is a customized child abuse recognition workshop designed for the people who interact with children and families in everyday settings.

See the Signs training helps participants recognize possible indicators of abuse, neglect, unsafe caregiving, and child distress by paying attention to various signs children display. It also teaches participants how to organize concerns reported by others, document observations clearly, and understand when a concern may require immediate action or a mandated report.

Rather than teaching participants to “investigate,” this workshop helps them become more observant, better prepared, and more confident in knowing signs of abuse during normal interactions and how to proceed with reporting.

NOTE: This training is customized by audience.

Angelic Impact currently has customized trainings for:

  • teachers & school staff

  • law enforcement

  • fire personnel

  • foster parents

  • parents

  • faith leaders

  • youth-serving organizations
